Did you know that Culver City houses a large number of old apartment buildings, that may have structural issues with soft-story construction? These buildings feature tuck-under parking spaces with units overhead.

The Culver City Chamber of Commerce is supporting efforts by the City to make these buildings more secure in earthquakes. We have arranged for Chamber member Optimum Seismic, Inc., to conduct a complimentary informational workshop for local apartment owners and managers.

They are experts in the field who have been doing earthquake engineering and construction since 1984.

Earthquakes are inevitable, but they don't have to result in disaster. Preparation is key!
