About Us

Karney Management Company has been in the business of operating, developing and purchasing industrial buildings for more than 55 years. The company’s principals own over 100 buildings through partnerships, encompassing millions of square feet of industrial space leased to warehouse distribution, manufacturing and creative use tenants. The majority of the properties are in the greater Los Angeles and Orange County industrial areas including Marina Del Rey, Torrance, El Segundo, Hawthorne, Vernon, Commerce, La Mirada, Anaheim and Santa Fe Springs, with a number of out-of-state properties.

The Company was founded by David V. Karney and operated by him as one of the first significant industrial real estate companies in Southern California. It is now owned and operated by Aliza Karney Guren, CEO and Susanna Karney Flaster, President. Karney Management Company’s senior executive team is headed by Gregg Young, COO, Martin Colvin, CFO, and Dan Powers, Director of Leasing/Acquisitions, with over 80 years of experience between them in commercial real estate, including development, acquisitions, brokerage and property, asset and portfolio management.
